The radio receives AM/FM, shortwave, seven channels of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather information, and consolidates several additional emergency tools in one handheld unit, including an LED flashlight, a flashing alert light, an emergency siren, and a digital alarm clock. The device's lightweight housing and compact size make it ideal for storage and use while camping, in a car trunk when traveling, or during storms and power outages.
